Polyoxymethylene POM Gasket Seal
POM is better known as the polyacetal resin.
POM plastic products are with good mechanical properties, resistance to wear self-lubricating material.
POM gasket seal has excellent dimensional stability and excellent resistance to organic solvents.
POM seal washer has low hygroscopicity, and therefore, suitable for working in contact with water in a wet environment.
Polyoxymethylene POM Gasket Seal is mainly used in the manufacture of mechanical parts using technology.
POM is easy to crystallize, the degree of crystallinity of 70%; by high temperature annealing to increase crystallinity.
POM melting temperature of 181 ℃, a density of 1.425 g / cm. Acetal copolymer has a melting point of about 170 ℃. POM glass transition temperature of -60 ℃.
Phenolic compounds are preferred solvent POM. From the melt index of research that are POM narrow molecular weight distribution. In addition to strong acids, oxidants and phenol, the acetal copolymer other chemical reagents are stable, while POM also concentrated aqueous ammonia instability. POM products light, hard, rigidity and elasticity, dimensional stability, low friction coefficient, low water absorption, good insulation properties, and resistance to organic solvents; can be used in a wide temperature range of -50 ~ 105 ℃ and humidity range; in the role of various solvents and chemical reagents, and maintained under heavy load and long-term performance of the same cyclic stress.
